Health Data & HIPAA Notice
Effective Date: September 15, 2026
Disability Intelligence Group provides professional analytical and research tools. It is critical that users understand our strict policies regarding Protected Health Information (PHI) and claimant data.
This page is not a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices from a covered entity. It explains why regulated health and identifiable claimant information must not be submitted to the current services.
1. Service Not Currently Offered for PHI
Our current websites, online tools, demonstrations, and workspace are not offered, designed, or configured to process, store, or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI). We do not presently offer a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) for those services. Marketing descriptions of potential claim or portfolio capabilities are conceptual and do not authorize data submission.
2. Strict User Prohibition
Users must not upload, enter, or submit any data that could identify a patient or claimant. You are strictly prohibited from providing:
- Names associated with medical records, claims, cases, or legal documents.
- Social Security Numbers (SSNs) or Medicare data.
- Dates of Birth (DOBs).
- Specific medical diagnoses, treatment records, or detailed provider histories linked to individuals.
- Any other identifiers defined as PHI under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) or claimant identifiers.
3. Account Data is Not PHI
Ordinary identity and account data provided by our authorized professional users (such as your own name, business email, or IP address used for login) is collected for standard account administration and is not automatically classified as PHI.
4. Future PHI Use
Any future use of our systems to handle PHI or claimant data will require a separately signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) and a specifically approved secure configuration prior to the submission of any such data. Without these prerequisites in place, the prohibition remains absolute.
5. No Claims of HIPAA Certification
We do not represent that the current public tools or workspace are HIPAA-compliant, HIPAA-certified, or configured to satisfy a covered entity's or business associate's HIPAA obligations. A prohibition on submitting PHI is not a substitute for a risk analysis, required safeguards, policies, workforce training, or a BAA.
6. Incident Contact
If you believe PHI or sensitive claimant data has been inadvertently submitted to our systems, you must notify us immediately so we can investigate, contain the issue, and delete or otherwise address the data as appropriate and legally permitted. Do not include the sensitive information itself in the notification email.
